Caught in a sliver of sunlight and sitting on a gate overlooking Loch Dunvegan, Isle of Skye!
Scotland is apparently the only part of the UK mainland where these birds breed.

The bird may take a little finding but the bright orange beak should give it away quite easily,
Fence and harbour wall at Ardrishaig on Loch Gilp, Scotland. 16.9 format so a large view may be beneficial !

Pheasant, I slowed the car as they are such unpredictable birds but it just stood perfectly still so we stopped in a gateway and it posed nicely.

Captured while walking the canal towpath and managed to get a partially clear shot however not completely sure on the species sparrow I assume, also good to note that buds are appearing on the trees,

A bird stretches and the sun creeps over the horizon to start another day,
A couple of hours later and for the remainder of the day consisted of Thunder/Lightening and at times torrential rain,
Not overly sharp because of lack of processing and the low light.
