A fishing village built at the head of an inlet of Loch Fyne called East Loch Tarbert, on a narrow isthmus which connects Kintyre to the south with Knapdale to the north,
It is known as the gateway to Kintyre!
HFF and a large view for clarity please!

The Lighthouse on the end of the breakwater at Ardrishaig, Lock Gilp, Argyll and Bute, Scotland
This breakwater shelters the eastern end of the Crinan Canal which flows coast to coast saving the long and dangerous trip around the Mull of Kintyre,
Loch Gilp itself is an offshoot on the western side of the much larger Loch Fyne,
HBM and a nice week to all!

Another image from the archives once again it's 2018,
This is Loch Fyne at Inveraray Pier with the Clyde Puffer "Vital Spark" She was launched in 1943 as "VIC 27" (victualling inshore craft) These ships were a World War II derivative of the iconic Clyde-built puffers which, for nearly a century, were the lifeblood of coastal communities up and down the west coast of Scotland.
She was the “"the smertest boat in the coastin' tred", with her blood red hull, shiny brass whistle and cargoes of anything from Heilan coos to furniture, and plenty of whisky.
She also starred in the mini-series, Para Handy – Master Mariner
I recommend a large view,,,,,,, HFF and a lovely weekend to all!
I have a link to a programme on the Clyde Puffers for anyone who may be interested,

RO 88, ASHLEIGH M, (Campbeltown) In Loch Fyne and heading to land today's haul at the fishing port of Tarbert,
The high tide line is obvious on the opposite rocky shoreline,
Better large I think,

Tarbert Loch Fyne, The village is built around East Loch Tarbert, an inlet of Loch Fyne, and extends over the isthmus which links the peninsula of Kintyre to Knapdale and West Loch Tarbert,
Over the wall the "Calmac ferry "m/v Isle of Cumbrae" has just arrived from Portavadie on the Cowal peninsula which runs every day hourly,
It may work OK Large !.............HWW !

A morning shot and a picnic bench though the gap between the rear of the barge "Delfine" and a gift shop on the quayside at Tarbert on Loch Fyne,
Loch Fyne, is a sea loch off the Firth of Clyde and forms part of the coast of the Cowal peninsula. Located on the west coast of Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It extends 65 kilometres inland from the Sound of Bute, making it the longest of the sea lochs in Scotland (Wikipedia)
A musical link from the Gap Band, although not my idea of morning, www.youtube.com/watch?v=aobIboK_z34
HBM and a great week to all...................Large may be an advantage
