Seal View, (Pip)

Apologies but you will probably need a large view for clarity This is It is a short distance north of the tip of the Mull of Kintyre, which faces out towards Northern Ireland and the Atlantic with views of the islands of Gigha, Islay and Jura. Seals are visible in the pip, For convenience, I only carry my landscape lens while away from the car which can have drawbacks especially in situations such as this. HBM and a good week,

Rings of Kintyre

29 Jun 2023 73 117 472
Campbeltown is one of five areas in Scotland categorised as a distinct malt whisky producing region, and is home to the Campbeltown single malts, The weathered steel rings represent the copper straps around a Whisky Barrel, and the sculpture is called Am Baraille. The Island seen through the rings is Davaar Island which is located at the mouth of Campbeltown Loch off the east coast of Kintyre, in Argyll and Bute, It is a tidal island, linked at low tide to the mainland by a natural shingle causeway called the Dhorlin, A flat light kind of day but a large view may be worthwhile, This area was home to Sir Paul and Linda McCartney therefore the only possible music link has to be www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SEVPR5Ssck
