The red 'Post' advertisement can be seen in the background. The small-minded visionless govt voted in in 2013 has gutted this plan choosing to continue using copper cable to deliver the service to existing premises. Toowoomba is in the fortunate position of being part of the initial rollout so most people in town have got / will get fibre and some rural areas around the city are served by a dedicated wireless service.
