Saturday challenge 272. - 27.08.2022 - Durch etwas fotografieren / Photograph through something
Photograph through something which is not intended for this purpose - a glass of water
28 August 2022 I have just uploaded a photo of the background object...
www.ipernity.com/doc/gillianeverett/51533294
It was interesting that the colours were so dramatically changed by the background blue and yellow boards, when taken through a clear glass of water...

clear water in a glass - refraction
Refraction photography refers to photos that capture a refraction effect, where light is bent in glass, water, or some other surface to make a subject appear very large, very small, or otherwise distorted.

NEWS 8 July 2022
Re. the monthly mood, which is SUNNY (unlike our weather in Australia at the moment), all the entries so far have been invited, which indicates a low level of interest.
As it is somewhat confusing to have weekly and monthly themes, we plan to change to ONLY weekly challenges on Sundays.

Near the Post Office in Cooroy, country town in Queensland.
The area was explored by timber-cutters as early as 1863. Cooroy railway station was opened in 1891 and in the same year a post office opened. A town survey was conducted in 1907. Cooroy's main industry developed from timber, having two operating sawmills, into dairying and fruit growing. In 1915, a butter factory opened.
