This weekend Bastian and Caithlin has been to Racekatten's two-day show in Køge, Denmark - and both has done extremely well. On both days Bastian won Best In Show for Housecats (mixed breeds). The judges Britta Busse on Saturday and Veikko Saarela on Sunday fell for his good looks and charming personality. Bastian now has 4 BIS wins in 5 international FIFé shows - pretty impressive career for a cat, who started last year at the age of 5½... Caithlin won her CAPS certificates and was nominated for the stage show on both days - Saturday by Jørgen Billing and Sunday by Glen Sjöbom. On Saturday she came second on stage to a wonderful Devon Rex, but Sunday she won her 8th Best in Show (Group IV neuter female). A collage of vidcaps from Racekatten's two-day show in Køge last weekend. Caithlin won her CAPS certificates and was nominated for the stage show on both days - Saturday by Jørgen Billing and Sunday by Glen Sjöbom. Since September Caithlin has not won a Best In Show in her category, She has collected her certificates all right and also one Best Veteran win, but no Best In Show for almost 9 months... Yesterday, however she turned the tables at the Danish Open show in Middelfart, arranged by our national federation Felis Danica. The judge Thea Friscovec had great praise for colour and type and awarded her the CAPS certificate and also nomination for the stage show. On top of that she also won the prize as Best Group IV Veteran. On stage the panel unanimously voted her Best in Show (group IV, female, neuter) and she went on to beat the best male, thus becoming Best Neuter of her group. Caithlin has just won the title of Grand International Premier , so I suppose she is now the Grand Duchess of our house... ;) This week-end we have been to the FIFé World Show in Malmö, Sweden. It was a huge event with 1955 (!) qualified cats entered for competition. There was no best in show for Caithlin this time, but she received lots of praise and secured the GIP title by winning her 8th CAGPIB certificate. Dushara Cathal Caithlin (Somali), 25.10.2015.
