The Swedish FIFé judge Hans G. Lindberg has unexpectedly died on November 21st 2016. The cat world will gratefully remember him for fair judging and for his evident love for every cat he handled. Since September Caithlin has not won a Best In Show in her category, She has collected her certificates all right and also one Best Veteran win, but no Best In Show for almost 9 months... Yesterday, however she turned the tables at the Danish Open show in Middelfart, arranged by our national federation Felis Danica. The judge Thea Friscovec had great praise for colour and type and awarded her the CAPS certificate and also nomination for the stage show. On top of that she also won the prize as Best Group IV Veteran. On stage the panel unanimously voted her Best in Show (group IV, female, neuter) and she went on to beat the best male, thus becoming Best Neuter of her group. Yesterday I took Rags to Racekatten's show in Sorø. Caithlin is taking a short break from the shows. so in her absence Rags stepped in. And he surpassed all expectations by becoming nominated and later winning the Best In Show (Category 4 neuter m/f). It's only his 5th Nomination and 2nd BIS in 34 FIFé shows, but when an old circus horse smells the sawdust, it dances. And he sure did... :) Sorry for the poor vidcap quality. On Sunday Caithlin was at Racekatten's show in Køge, Denmark. Her judge in Class 6 Helene Lis awarded her the CAGPIB certificate and nomination for the stage show. On stage the panel voted her Best in Show (group III, female, neuter). This was her 6th Best In Show and 11th Nomination in 12 shows... :) Sorry for the poor vidcap quality.
