Cut-paper collage postcard created for Kollage Kit theme "On This Day." On this day in history, May 6, 1840, the world's first adhesive postage stamp, the "Penny Black", is first used in Great Britain. I love Canadian stamps! The ones marked "USA" were a joint philatelic venture between Canada and the U.S. Check out that $8- grizzly bear and that $10- blue whale! Most of these stamps were sent to me on a package of artistamps from famed mail artist and artistamp publisher, Anna Banana, who lives in British Columbia.
