I miss my home state of Texas very much this time of year, so I tapped into memories of Tex-Mex restaurants with their cheery decor in blue, yellow, hot pink, green... =wistful sigh= The funny thing is, this started as a pretty conservative checkerboard with a Posada skull in each square, plus the large Posada fellow with the guitar, but my skull stamps wanted to play and they made merry all over my simple design. They even shanghaied me into splashing gold ink around for confetti 'n' stars 'n' ribbons 'n' shit. Serious viva la fiesta! energy, I'm tellin' ya.
