I used Prismacolor markers to create a larger-than-life Crescent wrasse ( Thalassoma lunare ), then I folded him around a padded mailer and glued him down. I used Prismacolor markers to create a larger-than-life Crescent wrasse ( Thalassoma lunare ), then I folded him around a padded mailer and glued him down. (This fish is definitely male: just as with birds, they're the gaudy ones.) The color didn't come out right in this scan: in "life" the green on body & fins is the same color as the fish: a rich apple green. And the scales are edged with royal purple.
