The writing is Rene Magritte's : it's French for "I do not see the [woman] hidden in the forest." (There is actually a woman in between the two lines in the collage they came from...)

Green waves are two reproductions of a painting by Aaron Morse. Head of Medusa is adapted from a photo by Julia Margaret Cameron. Creatures are from Dover's "Sea Life" collection. Background wave design is made with a rubber stamp.
