The Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge spans the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts. Its name honors a Boston civil rights activist and the Bunker Hill memorial, whose form it adopts. Although a beautiful design, the cables that cross the roadway collect ice that occasionally drops and becomes a hazard for motorists. AIMG_1264
