Kennecott Glacier does not look like a typical glacier. It is covered by a layer of rocks and debris (moraine) but you can see the ice beneath in some spots. AIMG 6077

At 13 miles long, Bear Glacier is the longest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park. On Bear Glacier, two ice flows meet, forming a medial moraine where the rocky debris carried along the sides of the two ice flows join. AIMG 5252
