This winter, we have had over 8 feet of snow. Ice dams and roof collapses from the snow and cold have occurred so people have been paying roofers $100-$200 per man hour to shovel their roofs. It is very expensive but it is far cheaper that repairing a collapsed roof, and the work on the icy roofs is very dangerous.
