Collin Street Bakery Farm (Corsicana) is the largest organic golden pineapple farm in Costa Rica and is Fair Trade Certified. After the pineapples are picked, they are washed and sorted. Those pineapples that are not aethetically pleasing, such as this one in which the foliage is too small for the body, are separated and sent to the canning factory. ODT: Liquid AxMG_1891

A worker dressed in thick clothing to protect him from the sharp spines of the pineapple foliage walks in the field looking for ripened pineapples. Beyond the pineapple field is the papaya field.
