The Sunday Challenge: Double Exposure I merged two images of the Sharon Band taken at the Boston Festival of Bands in historic Faneuil Hall in Boston, Massachusetts using the double exposure feature in my camera. One was a 300 mm shot and the other was a 16 mm shot. TSCIMG 4260

The lead pack of elite women, including Rita Jeptoo who eventually won the women's division, head up Heartbreak Hill in Newton, Massachusetts on their way to the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon. The cowards who planted the bomb waited until the mass of ordinary runners was at its peak. We should never succumb to the actions of terrorists. Live each day and do not buckle down in fear. 2012 Boston Marathon. The elite female runners charge up Heartbreak Hill in Newton, Massachusetts, enduring record temperatures of 86 degrees. Leading the pack is the eventual winner, Sharon Cherop of Kenya, followed by Jemima Jelagat Sumgong (2nd place) and Georgina Rono (3rd place), also of Kenya and Firehiwot Dado (4th place) of Ethiopia.
