Collin Street Bakery Farm (Corsicana) is the largest organic golden pineapple farm in Costa Rica and is Fair Trade Certified. After the pineapples are picked, they are washed and sorted. Those pineapples that are not aethetically pleasing, such as this one in which the foliage is too small for the body, are separated and sent to the canning factory.

Doing laundry in the Ganges in Varasani. Varanasi is considered to be a holy city by Buddhists and Jains, and is viewed as the holiest place in the world by Hindus who believe that it was founded by the Hindu deity, Lord Shiva, around 5,000 years ago. It is believed to be one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. Although the Ganges is extremely polluted, people believe that it will physically and spiritually cleanse them. This village near Ranthambore, India did not have running water. Women took their laundry to the field pump, filled their basin with water and did a wash using a bar of soap. This woman had her face covered for most of the time while she was washing her clothes, but uncovered it once the men who were not from the village left.
