There was no bread to be had at the grocery stores because hoarders had picked the shelves clean. Why buy more than you need, particularly of a perishable item? It only means that your neighbors must do without. Hoarders also cleared the shelves of toilet tissue (but not Kleenex) and paper towels (but not paper napkins). Two days later, bread, paper towels and toilet paper were back on the shelves. A20200313 173137
