I don't do aerial or panoramic photos and I certainly am not normally awake to see the sunrise of a new day. This was my first time riding an untethered hot air balloon. I had a lot of company with well over 30 balloons being launched to catch the sunrise.

Despite the saddle, I don't think that camels were really designed to be ridden. Mounting and dismounting involves being jolted at a 45 degree angle and riding a camel moves your spine as if you were using a hula hoop in slow motion. It's fun to do - once - but unless you are crossing the Sahara, take a bus. AIMG_5942A

The carnival ride looks innocuous enough when stopped, but for those brave enough to ride, the acceleration is real. AIMG_4025
