The fence marks the boundary of the Whirlow Hall Farm land and the abrupt change of slope into the wooded Limb Valley, south-west Sheffield. The tall slender tree-like feature just left of centre is a radio mast cunningly disguised to look like a redwood tree. The artificial branches were added many years ago, but time and weather have taken their toll and it is now looking a bit sparse.
