Fields and big sky This was taken from the ridge of slightly higher ground which joins the twin villages of Everton and Harwell in north Nottinghamshire. The view is to the NE over Everton Carr and the broad, low-lying valley of the River Idle, in north Nottinghamshire. The prominent white water tower in the Lincolnshire village of Haxey is visible just right of centre, and further to the right, plumes of steam rise from the steelworks at Scunthorpe. On the far left is the church tower of Misson, with the landscape beyond lying in Yorkshre, towards the Hatfield Moors.
