Chesterfield Canal: Drakehouse to Wiseton walk, 28th May 2015. Lady's Bridge over the Chesterfield Canal, near Wiseton, Nottinghamshire. The bridge carries a private ride, a continuation of the avenue from Wiseton Hall leading to the private Wiseton Gardens. The footpath which follows the canal towpath is the 'Cuckoo Way'.

This is a view of the Eight-Arch Bridge over the eastern arm of the Bosherston Lakes or 'Lily Ponds', in south Pembrokeshire. Only seven arches are visible in this photo. The Lily Ponds were originally tidal inlets but were dammed off from the sea at Broad Haven South during the 19th century to create a branched freshwater lake.

Originally uploaded for the Guesswhere UK Group. This is Pont Spwdwr, 'Spudder's Bridge', possibly even the bridge of 'Rees Powdwr' in early accounts. It crosses the river Gwendraeth Fawr between Kidwelly and Trimsaran in Carmarthenshire. The old bridge shown in the foreground dates back to the at least the 15th century; I'm not sure if the exact date of construction is known. The new bridge behind carries the B4308 road and dates from the 20th century. Taken with a Zenit 'E'; scanned from a Kodachrome 64 transparency.
