My contribution to the Convex Reflecting Surfaces thread for Guess Where London - an uplighter on City Thameslink station.

We collected the new hens today. Six point-of-lay Isabrowns. They are apparently good-natured - cross between Rhode Island Red and Sussex Buff.

I am lying back and thinking of England, with an oximeter probe on my finger.

I found this 5x3 snap in a drawer and scanned it for your amusement. I think the nattily-dressed concerned couple really make the picture. This is the early sixties - I am 6 or 7 years old. The location is probably London Zoo, but it might be Whipsnade. Photo almost certainly taken by my uncle Dudley Brand, a talented photographer.
