Sarah and Jim are employed to control slugs and other tasty pests.

We collected our new hens yesterday from Baverstocks of Biggin Hill; they look healthy and bright-eyed. They are called Shaver Brown - a cross between Light Sussex and Rhode Island Red. There are six, but it's difficult to get them all in shot!

Watch where you're putting your fingers, Dad!
