The pilot had gotten his license a short time before. He had taken the plane without permission, had loaded up three of his friends -- his best friend and their girlfriends -- and took off. They flew into a thunderstorm. Rollei 35, Tri-X, D-76

It was a stormy Friday night. A spectator at a highschool football game saw a small airplane, illuminated by a flash of lightning. It was low and was headed straight down. Firefighters searched through the night, but it was not until after sunrise that the wreckage was found, in a marshy area near Florida's famous Inverrary golf course.
