I have no idea what kind of moth this is, but it is certainly color-coordinated. If someone made a stuffed-animal moth for kids, it would probably look like this. Its body was about an inch long, in case that datum is of interest. And no, I didn't fiddle with the colors -- this is how the thing looked.

The name is made up. I have no idea what this georgeous insect is really called, though it is certainly a moth. Somewhere there is a tree where this moth blends in perfectly, but it wasn't there the day I took this.
