This is where new companies turn ideas into products. Some are technologies discovered at the university, but many are arrived at by enterprising persons who have nothing to do with the school. I had long wanted to take an unusual picture here. The very wide 12-24 Nikkor helped me find it.

All these trunks are of the same tree. A pleasant place to be on a hot summer's day.

Something happened long ago to this tree, such that its main trunk is gone. The runners on the sides have since then done it proud, though.

Simply one of the best places in the world, probably because the Vietnamese food vendor has summer rolls that are among the finest things of any sort available to eat anywhere. But you don't need to take my word for it: go there and try them out!

Okay, a sort of indoor landscape. I wanted to see how well the 12-24mm Nikkor would do on a D200 at ISO 1600. This is an unfiddledwith JPEG, ooc except for cropping at top. Not too bad, I think.
