14th century building. We booked it on AirBnB. Gorgeous character filled building in the heart of Giovanezza Old Town. To be honest, we only ended up in this wonderful coastal town because we found the accommodation!

Apparently, one of the architectural briefs explicitly stated that this palace was to surpass Versailles. Not far from Naples, it was built over decades, and added and modified for many more after that.

Locals are frequently asking us to be in their selfies. Generally, guys want me in theirs, and girls want Jo. Sometimes, we are both included. But they don't want someone else to take the photo - it is always a selfie.

During an evening visit to the palace of Deoksugung in Seoul.

We were on our way here, and were sidetracked by a concert in Seoul Plaza (note lights shining up in background of pic). The delay meant we arrived at the gates of Deoksugong ten minutes after last entry. The first guard was quick to indicate we were too late and would have to return another day, but another came over, smiled, waved us in, and told us to remember they close soon. We still had ample time to enjoy this wonderful palace as the lights came on.
