With a snow covered Ben Nevis in the background. The Lady of Lismore ferry can carry up to 23 passengers between Point on Lismore and Port Appin on the mainland. This is an unusual sight for around here - a Calmac ferry arriving at Leith. She is here for a service rather than on operational duties, which mainly involves taking people over to Islay, something she did for us a few years back. The Carrie B, a much more regular sight, is seen coming back to Newhaven harbour in the foreground.
