Peterborough Morning Mist...

Not sure if this worked really. I like the softness, and that was what I was aiming for, I just don't think I've quite got there with this one...

Scarlet Lili Beetle "Lilioceris lilii"

These beetles are very destructive in the garden to certain plants. They really like munching away on any Lily they find, but these two were happy mating on the leaf of a Fritillaria in our garden... They are Herbivore's, but I wouldn't fancy facing her if I was a small insect! This isn't as sharp as I'd hoped for. As soon as I appeared with the camera, the breeze kicked in again, causing the slight softness to parts of the image.

Saxifraga "Carpet White"

I always love taking photos of alpine plants, and to my mind, this is one of the best I've taken for a long time!

Lily Abstract

The movement and blur is really part of the image.

New Growth...

Finding my footsteps in the garden with my new macro lens :-) The movement and softness in this image is deliberate. I like to show my flowers in their natural environment, and not in a vase indoors. The movement is caused by the wind outside today.

Blossom

After a long lay off from shooting macro properly, I've just bought a new toy - a Tamron 180mm f3.5 macro lens, and so far it seems like a great lens!
