Winter / Early Spring fungus... Year after year I was looking for these species and yes I found them last week. So happy ;) It's a small one which lives near water in acid soil.

For me till now an unknown Indonesian Damselfly.. I found this one in 2009 in the Botanical Garden, Bogor Indonesia...

Vandaag 4 maart 2018 ben je jarig en 90 jaar geworden lieve Louisa! Ik wens je nog steeds veel voorspoed en een gezellige dag! Ik weet dat je erg van de lente houdt, daarom heb ik deze Amaryllis pas voor je op de foto gezet. Ik had hem zelf in de bloei getrokken, er kwamen maar liefst 12 bloemen aan... Ik hoop dat je nog lang mag blijven genieten van Ipernity en al het moois om je heen... Je krijgt ook speciaal de groeten van Erik, je weet wel, die van alle mooie natuurfoto's en woordgrapjes! I took this picture through glass from above the Euromast. The Euromast is an observation tower in Rotterdam, Netherlands, designed by Hugh Maaskant constructed between 1958 and 1960. It was specially built for the 1960 Floriade, and is a listed monument since 2010. The tower is a concrete structure with an internal diameter of 9 m (30 ft) and a wall thickness of 30 cm (12 in). For stability it is built on a concrete block of 1,900,000 kg (4,200,000 lb) so that the centre of gravity is below ground. It has a "crow's nest" observation platform 96 m (315 ft) which was completed in 1968, but regained it when the Space Tower was added to the top of the building in 1970, giving an additional 85 m (279 ft). Euromast is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers.

Westerbork transit camp (Dutch: Kamp Westerbork, German: Durchgangslager Westerbork) was a World War II Nazi refugee, detention and transit camp in Hooghalen, ten kilometres (6.2 miles) north of Westerbork, in the northeastern Netherlands. 'Elphi': The Elbphilharmonie Hamburg is a concert hall under construction in the HafenCity quarter of Hamburg, Germany. The concert hall is designed by Herzog & de Meuron on top of an old warehouse (Kaispeicher A). It will be the tallest inhabited building of Hamburg, with a final height of 110m. On 2 April 2007, the First Mayor of Hamburg Ole von Beust, Henner Mahlstedt, Hochtief Construction AG, project coordinator Hartmut Wegener, Hamburg Minister of Culture Karin von Welck and architect Pierre de Meuron laid the foundation stone in the warehouse Kaispeicher A. In 2007, the construction was scheduled to be finished in 2010 with an estimated cost of €241 million. In November 2008, as an endorsement to the original contract, the costs for the project were estimated at €450 million. In August 2012, the cost were re-estimated to be over €500 million, which should also cover the increased cost for a strengthened roof. The date of completion has been moved to the summer of 2015 at the earliest. Currently, construction work is scheduled to end in October 2016, with an earliest opening date of spring of 2017. The easternmost part of the building will be occupied by "Westin Hamburg" hotel scheduled to open in October 2016. The upper floors west of the concert hall will accommodate apartments.

Vandaag 4 maart 2017 ben je jarig en alweer 89 jaar geworden lieve Louisa! Wow, da's een hele leeftijd en zeker een bloemetje waard. Ik weet dat je erg van de lente houdt, daarom heb ik deze collage ook voor je samengesteld! Net als de oudere meneer hiernaast wandel jij ook graag in de natuur. Ik hoop dat je dat nog lang mag blijven doen! De wandeling door dit park maakte ik afgelopen zondag... Ik wens je nog een heel fijne dag!
