Taken at East Quay, Bridgwater on a lovely sunny day. The Rope Walk runs alongside the River Parrett to the town centre, the rope design snaking along the pavement, commemorating the ship building heritage of the town and associated rope making industry. The last ship to be built in Bridgwater, by F J Carver & Son was the 100 foot ketch the Irene, built in 1907, and she is still sailing today.
