Rusty chains in a large X shape found on Plockton beach,Ross and Cromarty in the Scottish Highlands. Plockton is on Loch Carron and is a popular tourist destination. It has been widely used as a location for filming and scenes from'Wicker Man', 'The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries' and more famously 'Hamish Macbeth' were filmed here. This photographer had an excellent vantage point and camera set up waiting for the best light. He must had been wearing wellies as my feet were already sodden from walking across the wet, marshy ground. I decided to stay put and snap the snapper for added interest!
