Dunbar Harbour, East Lothian, nestled at the foot of the Castle Dunbar ruins. In 1567 an Act of Parliament decreed that the castle should be destroyed following the Battle of Carberry Hill. It has been a ruin ever since then. The Isle of Jura taken from Port Askaig, Islay. One of the islands in the Inner Hebrides Jura is situated off the west coast of the Scottish Kintyre Peninsula, is mountainous and sparsely populated. Jura is famous for its whisky. The ferry to Jura from Islay runs from Port Askaig and this photo shows how close the islands are.
