Captured at Blake Gardens, Bridgwater, Somerset. The old bandstand sadly sees little use these days and is in need of repair and decoration. It used to be so nice to sit here and listen to bands playing whilst enjoying the sunshine and gardens. The PiP is of the flower bed with walkway through the park on the left of the picture. On the other side of the wall is the River Parrett. I have added a song by Aha. Wigtown, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland and people are enjoying the peace of the park. As Wigtown is Scotland's national book town I am sure they will have plenty of books available to read. The PiPs show views of the park with the impressive Wigtown County Buildings and town hall in the background, The final PiP shows the Mercat Cross, the Scottish name for a market cross, which was erected in 1818 and is situated just outside of the park.
