Machir Bay,Islay Please view large This is a beautiful bay and the wreck is believed to be that of an old steamship called Patti, wrecked in the 1840's, although not much more is known about it The link is 'Hammer and Nail' by Suzy Bogguss. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qxrbYovDLI It probably needs more than a hammer and nail but the lyrics seem to fit 'Nail and Hammer, Hammer and Nail I need a lifeboat that is set to sail.....'
