Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset and there is snow on the hills in the distance. This is the point where the River Brue meets the River Parrett, forming part of Bridgwater Bay. There was no water by the jetty and this lone boat was left high and dry and seemed to me to be stuck in the mud. Corpach Basin, at the Western end of the Caledonian Canal. The lock gates in the distance mark the start of what is Scotland's longest canal. Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, can be seen in the background on the right, and snow is still visible at the top.
