Der Fetthennen-Bläuling (Scolitantides orion) ist ein kleiner Bläuling, der im Frühling in aufgelassenen Weinbergen mit Trockensteinmauern fliegt. Die Oberseite des Falters sieht eigentlich wie bei allen Bläulingen aus (siehe PiP), die Unterseite ist hingegen außerordentlich hübsch. Die Weibchen legen die Eier ab an Pflanzen der Gattung Hylotelephium, vor allem an der Großen Fetthenne (Hylotelephium telephium).Die Falter findet man in Deutschland nur in wenigen Landesteilen. Sie sind auf der Roten Liste Deutschland und vom Aussterben bedroht. Die Universität Würzburg hat zur Zeit ein Forschungsprojekt zu dieser Falterart laufen. Das Foto wurde aufgenommen in einem fränkischen Naturschutzgebiet. Der genaue Standort wird aus verständlichen Gründen nicht genannt. The upper side of the butterfly ooks like all blue butterflies (sse PiP), but the underside is exceptionally pretty. The females lay their eggs on plants of the genus Hylotelephium, especially on the great stonecrop (Hylotelephium telephium).The Butterflies are only found in a few parts of Germany. They are on the German Red List and threatened with extinction. The University of Würzburg is currently conducting a research project on this butterfly species.
