Der Bergfink (Fringilla montifringilla) ist ein Zugvogel, der eigentlich in Skandinavien vorkommt. Im Herbst zieht er allerdings nach Mitteleuropa, wo er überwintert. Da er im Überwinterungsgebiet sehr zahlreich vorkommen kann, wurde er in Deutschland bis zum Verbot der Vogeljagd 1908 gejagt. Die Aufnahme entstand in einem Laubmischwald.
