Hervorragend getarnt ist die Blauflügelige Ödlandschrecke (Oedipoda caerulescens) ., die sich bevorzugt auf Kahl- und Ödlandfächen aufhält und wegen ihrer Farbe und Musterung auf solchen Untergründen praktisch nicht auffällt. Kommt man ihr zu nahe, fliegt sie kurz auf und man sieht ihre blauen Flügel. Sie gilt zurzeit im Bestand als ungefährdet.
