Diese Aufnahme mit einem Großen Wollschweber (Bombylius major), der an einer Schlüsselblume (Primula veris) Nektar saugt, gelang mir am sonnigen Rand eines Eichenmischwalds. Im PiP sieht man einen Schnappschuss: Kurz vor dem hier gezeigten Bild machte ich schon eine Aufnahme am gleichen Objekt. Man sieht auf ihr den gleichen Wollschweber im Anflug, allerdings ist nur der starre Saugrüssel zu sehen. Schweber sind keine Bienen; sie werden den Fliegen zugeordnet! In the PiP you can see a snapshot: Shortly before the picture shown here, I already took a picture of the same object. On it you can see the same large bee-fly hovering in approach, but only the rigid suction trunk is visible. Bee-flies are not bees; they are assigned to the flies! Their size is about 1 cm.
