Ein aufgefächertes Zeltdach aus Stoffbahnen ist mit Zugankern an einem Stahlring befestigt, der auf den umliegenden Gebäuden aufliegt. Es soll eines der Wahrzeichen Japans, den heiligen Berg Fujisan, symbolisieren. The roof structure is a spectacular feat of engineering. A fanned tent roof made of panels is attached with tie rods on a steel ring, which rests on the surrounding buildings. Einerseits hochverschuldet, andererseits anziehend und glamourös. Magisch lockt die Stadt Künstler, Sammler, Galeristen, Studenten und Touristen aus aller Welt mit niedrigen Mieten, spektakulären Museen und grellen Clubs. Aber auch viele Zuwanderer aus dem Bundesgebiet und aus anderen europäischen und außereuropäischen Staaten finden Berlin äußerst attraktiv.
