The picture was taken near Karlstadt am Main with a view of the limestone bastions and vineyards on the other side of the Main.

Diese Manna-Esche mit typischem, prächtigen Herbstlaub befindet sich zwischen Himmelstadt und Karlstadt am Rand des ehemaligen Treidelpfades entlang des Mains. Manna ist der durch Einschnitte in die Rinde gewonnene, an der Luft eingetrocknete Saft (genannt Manna cannelata) 8 bis 10 Jahre alter Manna-Eschen-Bäume.
