Vor einigen Jahren wanderten meine Frau und ich auf dem Malerweg in der Sächsischen Schweiz. Eine Etappe führte auch zur Felsenburg Neurathen. Von dort hat man einen wunderschönen zur 1851 erbauten Basteibrücke. Dieses touristische Highlight hat nur einen Nachteil: Es ist in der Hauptreisezeit stark frequentiert. Leider ist die oben rechts zu sehende Bastei-Aussicht aus Sicherheitsgründen für Besucher gesperrt! HFF an alle Iperianer! de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bastei_(Fels) A few years ago my wife and I hiked on the Malerweg ("painter's path") in Saxon Switzerland. One stage also led to the Felsenburg Neurathen. From there you have a beautiful bridge to the Bastei bridge built in 1851. This touristic highlight has only one disadvantage: It is highly frequented during the main tourist season. Unfortunately the Bastei view on the top right is closed for visitors for security reasons! HFF to all Iperians!

Der Lichtenhainer Wasserfall in der Nähe von Bad Schandau ist eine der Hauptattraktionen der Sächsischen Schweiz. Der ursprünglich kleine Wasserfall des Lichtenhainer Dorfbachs wurde 1830 zur Steigerung seiner touristischen Attraktivität über einen kurzen Hangkanal etwas erhöht und zum anderen durch ein aufziehbares Stauwehr mit schwallartigem Abfluss ergänzt. Einem Lichtenhainer Bürger wurde das verpachtbare Amt des „Wasserfallziehers“ übertragen. Seither wird jede halbe Stunde am Wehr gezogen. Unter musikalischer Untermalung lässt der „Wasserfallzieher“ das Wasser sturzbachartig den Felsen hinuntergießen. The originally small waterfall of the Lichtenhain village stream was slightly raised in 1830 to increase its tourist appeal by means of a short sloping canal and on the other hand it was supplemented by a retractable weir with a gushing discharge. A citizen of Lichtenhain was given the leasable office of the "waterfall puller". Since then, the weir is pulled every half hour. Dieser Weg verläuft in der Sächsischen Schweiz, dem deutschen Teil des Elbsandsteingebirges in Sachsen. Die durch bizarre Felsformen geprägte Landschaft liegt südöstlich von Dresden beiderseits der Elbe im Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz. Auf dem 115 km langen Malerweg durchwandert man die herrlichsten Landschaften und Felsformationen. Eine der schönsten Gegenden in Deutschland und sehr empfehlenswert! Meine Frau und ich liefen den Malerweg 2013 in acht Tagen ohne Probleme.
