Erstmalig sah ich auf meinen Wanderungen einen Laubwald, in dem an mehreren Stellen große Flächen dicht mit Schneeglöckchen (Galanthus) bewachsen waren. Ein wirklich schöner Anblick. Ich vermute, dass diese Schneeglöckchen aus Gärten stammen und jetzt verwildert sind. Interessant ist, dass ein Inhaltsstoff, nämlich das Alkaloid Galantamin, bei der Behandlung von Demenz (Alzheimer) eingesetzt wird.
