Wer sich die Mühe macht, auf den Berg der Festung Marienberg in Würzburg hochzusteigen, kommt zu einem Aussichtspunkt, wo er mit einem wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt belohnt wird. Der Ort ist zeitweise von Touristen ziemlich frequentiert. Dieser Platz hat sich also herumgesprochen. Die Würzburger Innenstadt wurde im 2. Weltkrieg zu 90 % zerstört (s. PiP, Modell im Rathaus) und nach dem Krieg rasch wieder aufgebaut. Allerdings ging dabei ein Großteil der ehemaligen historischen Bausubstanz verloren. Würzburg im 2. Weltkrieg .
