Leider sind auf konventionellen Ackerflächen Ackerwildkräuter fast ganz verschwunden. Sie sind aber in Resten noch da, wie dieses Foto einer einsamen Mohnpflanze in einem riesigen Getreidefeld zeigt. Unfortunately, field wild herbs have almost completely disappeared from conventional farmland. But they are still there in remnants, as this photo of a lone poppy plant in a huge field of grain shows.

Diese blühende Mohnlandschaft erlebte ich bei einer Wanderung durch die Toskana bei Il Ceppo in der Nähe von Siena. I experienced this blooming poppy landscape during a hike through Tuscany at Il Ceppo near Siena.
