Jedes Jahr im August können die Besucher an den drei Festtagen in allen beteiligten Frankfurter Museen künstlerische Projekte und Dauerausstellungen besichtigen. Feste Bestandteile des Museumsuferfests sind auch die Sommergärten, Bühnenshows und Tanzflächen. Neben Kleinkunst, Varieté und Karaoke wird dem Publikum Live-Musik von Pop und Rock bis hin zu Blues, Funk und Jazz geboten.
