We see a lot of these aberrations as well as ab. intermedia at Marline Woods near by, but not seen this one at Combe Haven before.

Grizzled Skippers are still going well at the 1st location, still no sign of them at the second location, which is not being managed and the Rabbits are not as active, plus its being allowed to turn into Ash Woodland as well.

Got lucky enough to have the cloud move over and the few little Grizzled Skippers still out (its late for them to be out still) are roosting up.

After our encounter with this little gem a few weeks back I was still surprised to find a small colony of them in the same area. Its a new species for us and I'm not in love with the photos yet, so yall will just have to suffer my practice shots.. lol
