I was given the best butterfly book of all time recently by my dear friend. (The Butterflies of Britain & Ireland by Thomas & Lewington) So this year I have succeded in finding some of the Orange Tip Larvae. Of course having one on my patio didnt hurt either..lol

Earlier instar than I've seen before so grabbed a shot for my records.

Ah Tippy B, Bon Voyage Tippy... Tippy A (Orange Tip Butterfly Caterpillar) disappeared about 4 days ago to run off with some fluusy, which no doubt will leave him heart broken and he'll come running home to mum....em... OK ok... he went off to pupate but I haven't found were, now Tippy B has flown the coup too.
